Aspirant mountain guide

The mountains are much more than a hobby or a profession: it’s a profound calling. Since I was young, skiing has been my great passion. I had the opportunity to improve my skills working as a ski and snowboard instructor at some of the best ski resorts, enjoying truly enriching professional and personal experiences. There was a chapter in my life when I worked as an engineer in the mining field in Canada. I remember those years as an exciting and formative time of my life. But the irresistible call of the mountains and the desire to live outdoors were stronger, driving me towards a significant change of direction. Returning to Valmalenco, becoming a guide, putting down roots and raising a family here, with the knowledge that I live in a true paradise, is a decision that still makes me immensely proud. My commitment remains the same: whether for a mountaineering adventure, a training course, or a simple nature exploration, I want to offer a meaningful and unforgettable experience.

ski instructor

I became a ski instructor at a young age and was fortunate enough to work in the most beautiful ski resorts. My favorite French resorts are Val d’Isere, Courchevel, Megeve, and Tignes. I’ve also worked in Saint Moritz and Livigno. I learned the art of powder skiing during my magical year at Whistler, British Columbia. I loved the Canadian snow so much that I decided to move there to live for about ten years. In Canada, I had the best skiing of my life and the wildest ski mountaineering experiences ever.

snowboard instructor

My passion for snowboarding came a little later than skiing, but it’s been completely captivating. I dedicate myself to snowboarding and teaching it when the fresh snow conditions are optimal. Lately, I’ve also been enjoying taking clients on splitboarding adventures. On days when the fresh snow is abundant, I always find immense joy in floating on a wide board.

telemark instructor

Telemark isn’t just a downhill technique; it’s a profound dialogue with the snowy landscape. It’s a discipline that asks us to slow down, to listen to the weight of our bodies and the texture of the snow beneath our feet. In a fast-paced world, Telemark offers us the opportunity to rediscover a more authentic and primal rhythm. I discovered Telemark in Livingo, the Italian capital of this beautiful sport.

This ancient art takes us back to the origins of skiing, a time when humans moved through the mountains with respect and awareness. Skiing Telemark means embracing an inner lightness that is reflected in the tracks left on the snow.
